A Note for Basketball Parents
Balls seem to disappear from the rec center and elementary school gym throughout the season and leave our kids to practice with one ball per team. To combat this situation, we are asking parents to provide a practice ball for their child in the appropriate size. This does NOT have to an expensive ball, any ball in the correct size is acceptable. Having this ball on hand at home will allow you to assist your coach in reinforcing skills and drills with yourson or daughter as well. Thank you for your help!!
About Bethesda Rec
The purpose of Bethesda Recreation is to organize, promote and conduct wholesome recreational activities for the membership; to cooperate with other county and community groups interested in the same kind of activities; and to co-operate and work with the Board of Education and local school administration in the maintaining and improving of present facilities and adding new facilities.

If you are North, take I-65 South and exit right at the 840 Local Traffic, Exit 59B, and immediately take the cloverleaf at Exit 30 and turn right on LEWISBURG PIKE / US-431 S heading South. Drive 2.7 miles and turn left on Bethesda Rd. Drive 3.6 miles and turn right into the Bethesda complex. Baseball fields are straight ahead, and the Bethesda Rec Center is on the right past the Fire Station and Library.
