Fall 2024 registration is now open!
Bethesda Rec will provide youth volleyball for boys and girls (coed), ages 6-17.
Practices will be held at the Bethesda Recreation Center Gym.
Games will be played mainly at Academy Park Gymnasium and the Franklin Recreation Center.
Ages 6-8 (8U) Introductory Volleyball League
This is a Coed training league 6, 7 and 8 year old interested in building basic volleyball skills. Games and practices will be played with Volley-Lite volleyballs and players will be required to serve from the 10-foot line. Coaches are volunteers for this league and will help explain rules during game play. All games will be played on Saturdays. Cost is $100.00
Ages 9-11 (11U) Intermediate Volleyball League
This is a Coed league designed for 9, 10 and 11 year old who are looking to continue the development of their volleyball fundamentals and skills. Games and practices will be played with Volley-Lite volleyballs and will not be required to serve from behind the baseline, although players will be encouraged to. All games will be played on Saturdays. Cost is $120.00
Ages 12-14 (14U) Junior Volleyball League
This is a Coed league designed for 12, 13 and 14 year old who are looking to build upon their skills within a more competitive setting. Players will be required to serve from behind the baseline. Games and practices will be played with regular volleyballs and according to TSSAA rules. All games will be played on Saturdays. Cost is $120.00
Ages 15-17 (17U) Advanced Volleyball League
This is a Coed league designed for children ages 15, 16 and 17 year old who desire intense and competitive training. Players will be required to serve from behind the baseline. Games and practices will be played with regular volleyballs and according to TSSAA rules. All games will be played on Saturdays. Cost is $120.00
